I recently released results of Excelsior-Unioncamere 2008 (on 2007 data) indicates that the second lowest in Livorno in Tuscany about the ranking on the number of companies that hire workers with customer service centers for use in the provinces. In first place, on a national scale, followed by Florence Prato in Tuscany and third in the second national ranking and Livorno, in fact, in penultimate and 24th in the Italian Tuscany.
The figure is significant, not as substantive proceedings on the work of local services, how to give an idea of \u200b\u200bhow much more should be done to render an important service even more efficient plus at a time like this recession in which the action becomes strategic governance, through the quality of services, to provide effective responses to the economic crisis.
in this direction are also identified new trends of policy and good governance when we see the possibility, and this is already the case in Tuscany, in the work of experimenting and training are their high degree of efficiency through the lever promotion of truly participatory mechanisms, which are based on the direct involvement of key stakeholders, businesses and citizens. The reference is to both initiatives by institutions than those arising from the voluntary sector.
E 'for example the recent experience of the integrated plan compartment (Province of Pistoia), where it is testing a program of training initiatives funded by the direct involvement of companies from the beginning of programming (first trial on three sectors). Similarly, but starting directly from the voluntary sector has moved the "ATM, Agora for the Third Millennium" a participatory methodology, specially patented and successfully tested under the new regional system of jurisdiction. And 'under this new system that the region of Tuscany implements a new relationship with citizens through a better guarantee of effectiveness of the qualification and certification skills to be better in tune with the demands of working life and prepare the ground for future recovery phase.
All this to say that the path is still long and we are still at the beginning but now it seems the road already laid out in a direction where participatory mechanisms become an integral part of many of the processes and strategies of local services, especially way with regard to employment services and training. This will imply, even in the short, sharing good practice in order to contribute immediately to alleviate and, hopefully, help solve the serious problems raised by the period of strong global crisis we are experiencing in order to use those skills and methods participatory serving people, especially those who are most in need.
