I took a half hour break to put my small collection of school notebooks. Of what I recently found there is one with a cover that I had never happen to see: a picture taken of Ancona on 29 September 1860. The design is absolutely fancy, but is an expression of recognition at the time the episode reached, especially when taking into account the decentralized branch of the publisher. Working educational use of images is an interesting perspective: report cards, notebooks have been a form today finally abandoned to educate but to indoctrinate (I'm obviously thinking about the report cards during the fascist period) ... albeit in different forms has always been an attention to image this before the advent of the digital revolution.
