Should We Snack Before Dinner

The new and the old lighthouse Ancona

hour of parking and close to the park Cardeto ... some pictures to see a place that is dear to me even when I'm gone ... Enrico Simonetti's book ( Lights and eclipses of the sea. lights of Italy, Laterza, Roma-Bari, 2005) does not provide a description particularly rich. As witnessed by the inscription at the base of the old lighthouse, the building was completed in 1860 (but the panel created by the Educational Park Cardeto ahead to 1859). The new lighthouse was built in 1965 in a position slightly back from the top of the hill: understandable given the choice of the landslide site. Interesting note from Simon on the new building next to the lighthouse "a signal to black and white bands instead of the port and the lamp stands by 1940" (p. 220). Here
